Mrs. Langford James is the East Coast Executive Director at The Torch Foundation. Mrs. Langford James served as the Torch Foundation's Global Executive Director for five years. After her adult transformational training experience, she was convinced this was the gap missing for teens. She realized a paradigm shift was happening, and she worked with others to rebirth The Torch Foundation in May 2015. She remains committed, relentless, and unstoppable in advocating for teens' social-emotional development.
Mrs. Langford James uses her inner spiritual center and faith to guide her in traversing her life journey. Mrs. Langford James is an Entrepreneur, Teens, and Women Transformational Life Coach. She is the Founder of Cycle Breakers, Inc., LLC., an organization that supports teens and women to break cycles, patterns, and generational curses so they can live their best and blessed lives. She is President and CEO of BravHERy, a women's global empowerment transformational training. A 2-day experiential and transformative weekend to support women in identifying the barriers stopping them from achieving the best of themselves. The training helps them with healing and gives them tools and techniques to produce sustainable results both personally and professionally. She is also the Founder of Yes We Care Teen Academy, where teens join a 12-week leadership cohort called Leaders in Committed Action (LICA), a teen personal development and leadership program. She has also worked in the nonprofit space for over 30 years.
Mrs. Langford James leads by example. She has overcome historical cycles typical to many families of all races. Mrs. Langford James overcame her family's cycle of addiction, attained higher education degree: bachelor's, discovered spiritual soundness and financial freedom. Mrs. Langford James has 30 years of sobriety, is a first-generation college graduate, and has raised three grandchildren for over twenty years who are all college graduates. Mrs. Langford James' life mission is to empower and educate others through transformation. She is an encourager who says if she can do it, so can you! Mrs. Langford James has committed each day of her life to teaching teens and women the pathways to obtaining similar results for themselves.
