OUR RESULTS
"Before the training started, I felt afraid because English is my third language and it wasn't good. I felt shy because that's me for my whole life. I was always shy and I knew that. But what I found there was just LOVE ! I saw everyone smiling and encouraging each other, it made me feel so comfortable and it was like I knew them from years ago. I learned how to take control back, I asked myself "Who said I'm shy?" The answer I heard within my head was "ME" and my coach made me notice that. I started loving myself and being there for myself. I learned that I'm worth it! I am not being the victim anymore. I am the one who takes control now. I am the driver of my car.
The Torch Foundation Ignite was one of the most important journeys I've ever gone through, it empowered me a lot, and it changed a lot in me; especially the way I see myself. Also, I changed the way I see my true mental strength. I learned how to navigate through my emotions and how to deal with my feelings, therefore I became positive most of the time, and I started sharing positivity all around me. I started calling myself a LEADER, who will make an impact and inspire others to change the world.
I learned to care, I learned to show people that I see them and that I'm listening carefully. Love wins !! Finally one of my most valuable things I have taken away, is knowing good people who care for me, who’s only goal is supporting me and investing in me with all they have to give. They inspired me to be like them, to be a coach one day and to invest in other people too. I decided to be a part of helping love and positive energy grow all over the world. In Tunisia and North Africa generally, we don't have this kind of learning and people investing in teens. I will make sure to be the bridge for other teens to see how the world can be and discover the power of 'LOVE.'”
